We manufacture storage tanks to CEN standard BS EN 12573 and to DVS 2205 and operate a documented quality assurance system to ISO 9001.
We manufacture storage tanks to CEN standard BS EN 12573 - Welded, static non-pressurised thermoplastic tanks and to its forerunner, the definitive German specification, DVS 2205.
Tanks are also manufactured to a documented ISO 9001 quality assurance system. The standards demand the consideration of all storage criteria including specific gravity, temperature, location and compatibility.
Design standards do not restrict tank capacities. Tanks are commonly manufactured from fabrication grade polypropylene - homo or co-polymer- high-density polyethylene and PVDF.
Tanks are butt-fusion welded from extruded thermoplastic sheets, which ensures inherent long-term strength. BS EN 12573 recognises that this technique gives the highest possible weld strength, above all other types including helical extrusion welding.
Our fabricators are trained to welder certification standard EN 13067.
